This may be wrong forum. A few weird things about install: 1 Remarkably fast. But, there was referral to 'Microsoft Office Communicator ', which is also in parentheses under 'MS Office Enterprise ' title.

I started Word in safe mode. It worked. Probably an add-in. I went to the COM add-ins and tried to disable them. OK, registry then. Navigated to:. Found three add-ins listed. I changed the value of the LoadBehavior key from 3 to 0 for each add-in. Word now worked OK, but still crashed on closing. I found I could restore two of the add-ins without problems.

I had a look at active templates. If I tried to unload it, Word crashed. Perhaps it needs the related COM add-in to be loaded. I closed Word, found the template file, and deleted it.

I used to have a problem with blue screens on my toshiba laptop running vista. That problem was solved. However, since then microsoft office word is not working properly anymore. Whenever i try to save, open or close a file the program stops responding and crashes. I tried uninstalling microsoft office, scaning the computer registry with regsupreme pro and cleaning it and then reinstalling microsoft office but the problem persists.

The problem is only with microsoft word, all other office programs work fine.
