Depending on where you work, different countries have different procedures for the handling of safeguarding cases. But due to the potential danger and risk that is present in these situations, it is vital to address them with your supervisor when you have any doubts.

Establish the importance of acknowledging the emotional impact of the work and how to use supervision to explore this aspect of practice.
